Ingredients

  • 3 ripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

Cooking Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Grease a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine mashed bananas and melted butter.
  4. Add baking soda and salt and mix well.
  5. Stir in sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract.
  6. Add flour and mix until just combined.
  7. Pour batter into the greased loaf pan.
  8. Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  9. Remove from oven and let cool in the pan for 10 minutes.
  10. Remove from pan and let cool completely on a wire rack.
